Families coordinating care for aging parents or relatives typically rely on unstructured chat groups where critical medication confirmations get buried, medical appointments are missed, and shared pharmacy expenses cause friction.
Zelo organizes caregiving around an explicit family care team with role-based permissions (Admin, Caregiver, Observer) so both on-site and remote relatives share a single source of truth.
Core Care Modules
- Shift Calendar & iCal Sync: Visual rotation schedule assigning who is on duty for each day or medical appointment, with calendar feed integration (
node-ical). - On-Duty Medication Alerts: Per-medication schedules that route Web Push notifications specifically to the family member on shift that day.
- Care Log & Expense Ledger: Structured daily status entries (meals, vitals, mood) and shared expense balances with PDF report export (
@react-pdf/renderer) and receipt OCR (AWS Textract).
